
Native to the Vancouver area, Mike Lyons is a retired Fire Captain from the Vancouver Fire Department and was previously employed by Fire District 5. During his career with the District he attended the University of Portland and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been a resident of Proebstel since 1981.

Bob Torrens is an educator at Burnt Bridge Creek Elementary School of the Evergreen School District. He was chairman of the Camp Bonneville Citizens Advisory Committee. He has served the residents of the District as a Fire Commissioner for over a decade. He served as chairman of the Fire District 5 Citizen Advisory Committee, and was instrumental in the master planning process for fire district consolidation. He co-chaired the contract negotiation talks for consolidation with the City of Vancouver Fire Department. He and his wife, Colleen, are longtime residents of the Proebstel area and have two children.

Roy Rhine has spent his lifetime in Clark County. He was raised at Five Corners in Orchards and attended Clark Community College. After completing an enlistment in the US Marine Corps, Roy returned to become a volunteer firefighter with Clark County Fire District 4 and later with Fire District 5 after the two districts merged. Roy eventually became the Volunteer Firefighter Coordinator. He continued his volunteer services after the merger between Fire District 5 and the City of Vancouver Fire Department. In 1988 he was selected as Firefighter of the year. Roy has been married 25 years to his wife Lisa and together they have two teenage sons.
